Summer Magic August 11 - 15

Mike Stanley - our own master magician, with over 40 years of experience will be the instructor for these two magic programs.

Magic Explores - ages 5-8 - is a week-long introduction to the art and fun of magic. Each young magician will receive a Magic Activity Pack (MAP) which includes five magic tricks and instructions. One for each day of the class. Each class will provide a unique mixture of magic, Arts & crafts, and educational content that helps the young magician learn and perform the trick. The goal is to have each young magician be able to perform the tricks for friends and family.

Intro to the Art of Magic - ages 9-13 - Young magicians learn 10-15 magic tricks through the use of everyday objects and props such as rubber bands, newspaper, paper clips, coins, playing cards and many more. They will work on puzzles that develop deductive and inductive reasoning, and thinking outside the box. The young magicians will learn how to entertain, and interact with and audience using eye contact, patter, and stories for each trick.
